Nestlé is part of a joint venture with General Mills, known as Cereal Partners S.A. Founded in 1991, both brands are major producers of breakfast cereals.

 

Nestle – Cheerios

Originally introduced in 1941, Nestlé Cheerios consists of crunchy little O’s made from wholegrain oats. Each serving contains just 140 calories.

Is it healthy?

With only 1 gram of added sugar in each serving, Cheerios are one of the healthier cereals available. They also contain whole grains for added fiber.

Is it gluten-free?

Yes, Cheerios are gluten-free which is stated on the packaging, making it suitable for Celiac disease sufferers.

Unfortunately no, Cheerios isn’t vegan-friendly as it contains sugar which is produced using animal bone char.
