My name is Edward and I created cereal secrets because I love cereal!
Ever since I was kid I’ve loved waking up and eating a big bowl (or three) of cereal each morning for breakfast. To try and keep it healthy my parents usually tried to choose relatively low sugar options like Cheerio’s, Rice Krispies, Shreddies and Corn Flakes.
But now that I’m an adult I occasionally treat myself with something a little sweeter.
However, since I’m no longer a kid I do worry more about my health. So I started researching which cereals were relatively healthier than others. And what I found surprised me. Some supposedly “healthy cereals” have a lot more fat and sugar than I ever expected.
And that’s why I list all sorts of information about each cereal. Not just their ingredients and nutritional facts but other things like if they’re high in protein, vegan, gluten-free, etc.
